Half Mountain: We see this 11,482' mountain on our trip to The Loch, as it sits at the entrance to Glacier Gorge which cuts this mountain in half, or more correctly, the glaciers that carved the gorge left only half of this mountain for us to enjoy today. Sometimes, the namings of mountains are simple affairs! Mills Lake sits at the very bottom of the steep cliffs of Half Mountain. #
